Do you believe in rumors? Well, you might want to. The latest word on the street is that Microsoft is looking to introduce a Microsoft-branded smartphone in the second-half of 2009. Obviously a Microsoft phone will have tight integration between the hardware and software (which we hope is Windows Mobile 6.5 at least). There isn’t any official confirmation on such a device just yet, but considering that Microsoft does have a PC hardware division, it’s not that hard to imagine it coming up with its own phone.
