Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition Discontinued

Nokia has discontinued sales and support of its Nokia N810 WiMAX edition with immediate effect. While Nokia’s PR department said that this is the normal procedure for old Nokia devices, many people speculate that the reason it was discontinued was because of a branding issue, especially since the device is branded under the now defunct XOHM, which was passed to Clearwire and rebranded as Clear. Unsold N810 WiMAX models are to be sent back to Nokia, and it is speculated that they will be repackaged and recertified to work on the new Clear service.
