France To Ban Mobile Phones Designed For Children

The French government certainly doesn’t seem too fond to see that children are using mobile phones, as it’s planning to lay new laws which would make it illegal to advertise mobile phones in a manner designed to appeal to children under the age of 12. There are apparently also plans to make it illegal to sell mobile phones designed to be used by children below 6. Guess we won’t be seeing that many Barbie phones in France anytime soon.
