Verizon Samsung Omnia Is Now $199
Story posted on: December 1, 2008. Filed in: samsung.

It’s another case of the early adopters being ripped off again. Verizon’s Omnia hasn’t been released for more than a few days, and the price of the phone has already been slashed to $199, which is about $50 cheaper than the original pricing. If you bought the phone at the inflated price a few days ago, you have a right to feel ripped off. The $199 pricing will enable the phone to compete (in terms of pricing) with the likes of Apple’s iPhone And T-Mobile’s G1, though it doesn’t look like the phone will be able to mount a successful challenge on those two. Will the new $199 pricing sway you enough to make you buy an Omnia?
