iPhone Promotional Apps

Developers trying to promote their apps on Apple’s App Store have received a boost from Apple, as they will now be able to provide up to 50 free promotional copies of their iPhone applications. Users who receive the code, will be able to download the full copy of the application for free, which would be great for developers who are trying to offer their products to reviewers. The codes can only be used in the US iTunes stores by using the “Redeem” link in the App Store. Before the promotional copies concept was introduced to the App Store, developers looking to promote their work had to distribute their programs via Ad-hoc distributors or issue gift certificates.
