OpenMoko GTA02: Update

Word is going around that OpenMoko’s upcoming Android-powered phone, the GTA02, will resemble their current Neo FreeRunner. The bad news is that the phone surprisingly doesn’t seem to have 3G, which doesn’t bode well for it, as 3G is becoming the norm in many phones. Features of the GTA02 should include:

• 2.8" 640 × 480 touch screen display
• Wi-Fi connectivity
• Bluetooth support
• Three-axis accelerometer
• 400-500MHz processor
• 128MB RAM
• 256MB NAND Flash
• A-GPS or GPS
• 4-in-1 laser pen

3G or no 3G, you should at least be able to annoy other people with the laser pen, though do be careful not to shine it into anyone’s eye!
