Sony Ericsson Automatic Zoom Patent

Looks like Sony Ericsson is planning to improve the zooming function of its upcoming Cybershot phones, judging from the patent application that it’s filed anyways. If you’re bored of using the usual zoom key on your phone or camera, then the latest patent that Sony Ericsson is filing for could be of help to you, as it will facilitate automatic zooming. If you want to zoom, all you have to do is move the camera away from your body and closer to the subject, and moving the camera closer to your body will be the same as zooming out. Intuitive, isn’t it?
