HTC T8290 Supports WiMax

While details are a little sketchy at the moment, the pictures that have been leaked are enough to set tongues wagging. At first glance, it looks rather similar to a HTC Touch HD, though the device from HTC looks more angular and is dubbed the T8290. Said phone is supposedly developed specifically for Russia’s Yota WiMax network. Until more specific details surface, here are the details that we’ve managed to dig up:

• 3.8-inch 800 x 480 screen
• 802.11g Wi-Fi
• Bluetooth 2.0
• GSM and WiMax support
