HP iPAQ DataMessenger And VoiceMessenger
Story posted on: October 20, 2008. Filed in: hp.

If you're looking for Windows Mobile phones that don't come from HTC or ASUS, you'll be happy to find that HP has entered the fray again, with its latest HP iPAQ DataMessenger and VoiceMessenger phones. The DataMessenger looks similar to HTC's Touch Pro handset, and features the slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Other features of the DataMessenger include a 2.8-inch display, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, quad-band GSM, aGPS, 3.1 megapixel camera and microSD card expansion.
The VoiceMessenger will sport a 2.4-inch display, with a keyboard that looks like a SureType keyboard of sorts. The VoiceMessenger should be going for €399 ($532) on November 5th, the DataMessenger for €499 ($665) on November 22nd via Vodafone in the Netherlands. Do they look like they will be challenging the iPhone and HTC's devices?
