BlackBerry Storm Was Initially Rejected

RIM co-CEO Mike Lazaridis has mentioned that when he first presented the initial BlackBerry Storm to Vodafone, the phone was rejected, saying “I thought that when we put Quadband EDGE and GPS and a powerful CPU and high-performance graphics cards on one tiny board – I figured that that was enough of a breakthrough and Vodafone sent me packing!”

This would probably account for the previous early “reviews” of the BlackBerry Storm where a lot of reviewers were complaining about the keyboard. But according to latest reports, RIM should have ironed out the problems that the phone initially had.
