XPERIA X1 Delayed?

If you’re looking forward to Sony Ericsson’s upcoming XPERIA X1, you probably won’t be too happy to hear news about a delay in its release, though is the delay for real? Boy Genius is reporting the phone may be delayed until January 2009 due to problems with Windows Mobile 6.1 compatibility according to a Sony Ericsson rep at IFA, though their official website curiously still states that it should be out by October 2008. Obviously the earlier they get it out the better, so let’s hope that they don’t drag their feet on this one.
