Sony Ericsson Comes With Music

Sony Ericsson is gearing up to launch their Play Now Plus service, which is aimed at competing with Nokia’s Comes with Music service. Their offering will be quite similar to Nokia’s, which will give users unlimited music downloads with access to millions of tunes, and customers will even be able to keep up to 300 songs after their 6-to-18 month contract expires. The service should be going live on Telenor in a few weeks time, and will spread from Sweden to Western Europe in Q1 of 2009, and other markets in Q2 2009. The service is said to cost 99 Swedish crowns ($15) per month, and it doesn’t look like you’ll need any specific Sony Ericsson phone to enjoy the service.
