HTC Opal To Replace The Touch?
Story posted on: September 9, 2008. Filed in: htc.

There is a rather interesting PDF from that is supposedly leaked from HTC which is making its rounds on the internet at the moment. The document seems to indicate a HTC Opal, which probably is the successor to the HTC Touch. It sure looks like it belongs in the rumor bin for the moment, especially since the specs seems to point out that it’s using the same TI OMAP 850 chip running at 200MHz. However, a few extra details never hurt, and here they are:
- Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro
- New TouchFLO3D
- TI OMAP 850 chip
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- microSD card expansion
- quad-band GPRS / EDGE
