Asus Launches Their P552w With Glide UI

Asus has announced their P552w smartphone, which is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. The P552w will be the first smartphone to use the finger-friendly Glide UI (user interface) which was developed by ASUS. Asus hasn’t mentioned the pricing and availability for the P552, which looks a lot like HTC’s original Touch, but the specs are available to the public, showing that the phone will have:

• 624MHz processor
• 256MB storage
• 128MB RAM
• Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900MHz)
• UMTS 2100MHz
• HSDPA
• Wi-Fi
• Bluetooth
• GPS
• 2 megapixel camera
• microSD card expansion
