5m GBP Fund For Omnia Ads In The UK
Story posted on: September 5, 2008. Filed in: samsung.

Samsung has supposedly said that it will be spending just under £5 million in the UK to market its latest Omnia i900, which will probably involve touting the Omnia’s impressive specs that include a 5 megapixel camera, touchscren, GPS, media player, Windows Mobile. The Omnia looks set to go up against the iPhone and Sony Ericsson’s XPERIA X1. If the £5 million tag doesn’t sound like a lot of money, you might want to note that while the fund covers the press, online and outdoor advertising, there will be no television campaign for this phone. The global marketing campaign for the Omnia is expected to be just over £24 million.
