Nokia N79 Pics Turn Out To Be Fake
Story posted on: August 19, 2008. Filed in: nokia.

While there was much excitement around the Internet when pictures of a supposed Nokia N79 were being passed around like hot cakes, it has turned out that while these pictures are real, the phone in the pictures is a clone (if you can call it that) of the yet-to-be-officially-released N79. This fake N79 is currently going for about $100, and certainly won’t have the features that are commonly associated with a high-end N-series phone. Specs of the (clone) phone should include:
- 2.4-inch display with 240 x 320 pixels
- 260k colors
- Bluetooth
- MP3 playback
- FM radio
- 256MB memory card
- 1MB internal memory
- VGA camera
