Story posted on: August 19, 2008. Filed in: nokia.

Nokia and Lonely Planet have announced that they will be distributing Lonely Planet content via Nokia Maps. This will be quite handy for users, as they will be able to buy and download city guides whilst on the road. Lonely Planet currently has over 100 destinations available, and promises more in the future. The guides provided will help travelers find places to eat, shop, rest and also describe the popular sights and nightlight for each destination.
