Vodafone will be offering the iPhone 3G in India from August 22nd, and the 8GB model will be going for 31,000 Rupees ($708), while the 16GB model will be going for 36,100 Rupees ($824). While the prices may look a tad expensive at first glance, users have to remember that these are for prepaid units, unlike those that are carrier-tied in the US. Bharti Airtel has also announced that they will be selling the iPhone 3G from Friday, though the official price hasn’t been announced yet.
