HTC ROM Updates Without Signing Up
Story posted on: August 8, 2008. Filed in: htc.

HTC has finally scrapped the requirement of signing up for their e-Club in order for users to download a ROM update. This will come as great news to users who own unlocked versions of HTC’s phones, as some users do complain that signing up for their e-Club isn’t as easy as it should be. Of course, the ROM updates available on HTC’s site will not work on carrier branded versions.
