HSBC Contemplating Switching To iPhones
Story posted on: August 14, 2008. Filed in: apple.

ZDnet Australia has an article that will certainly sound like a nightmare to RIM (Research in Motion), the people who provide the world with BlackBerrys. It seems that HSBC are actually considering ditching their current fleet of Blackberrys in favor of Apple’s iPhone. If this were to go through, that would mean that it would be carried out on a global scale, which would roughly equate to about an order of 200,000 iPhones. When the iPhone was first launched, many big companies didn’t take it too seriously, as it lacked enterprise level features, but Apple seem to have rectified this with their iPhone 3G. Will HSBC actually switch to the iPhone? RIM is probably hoping and praying that they won’t.
