Bluetooth Headset Sales Rise
Story posted on: August 8, 2008. Filed in: others.

The legislation that went into effect last month in California and Washington, which requires users to use a headset of some sort while driving and chatting on the phone, has probably been the reason why there has been a sudden spike in the sales of Bluetooth headsets. While 7,182 citations were handed out to Californians in July, only 100 were issued up north. The reason for this is probably because Washington drivers can’t be pulled over unless they commit some other violation. So drinking, driving and chatting on your mobile without a handsfree definitely don’t mix.
