BlackBerry Bold Has Reception Issues Too

While Apple’s iPhone 3G has taken a lot of flak recently for its reception issues, not to mention a lawsuit, it seems that RIM’s BlackBerry Bold may be facing a similar problem too. There are reports going out that users are experiencing reception problems for their BlackBerry Bold on Rogers’ network. While quite a few reports were pointing fingers at the Infineon chip in the iPhone 3G, the Bold isn’t using the same chip, so the problem probably lies somewhere else, unless the chip that the Bold is using is also causing a similar problem.
