T-Mobile Sidekick Drops The 2008 Label

After all those funky names (Gekko, Sidekick 2008 etc), T-Mobile has finally decided to call it the “Sidekick”, how unique. While the name might sound plain, user’s can get user-customizable “shells” for $14.99. The device itself should be going for $149.99 on a two-year contract. The Sidekick will have an impressive feature set such as:

• 400 x 240 WQVGA display
• 2 megapixel camera
• Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP
• microSD card expansion
• 2.6-inch display
