Sony Ericsson looks like they’re finally going to release their PlayNow Arena mobile media store in some European locales. Screenshots of PlayNow are even surfacing on the internet. While it’s been a long wait, there really doesn’t seem to be anything groundbreaking in PlayNow to justify the delay. It looks very much like a normal portal for buying games, images and music, fairly standard stuff. At least Nokia’s N-Gage has the excuse that they have more to work on as they have to deal with the gaming aspect of the N-Gage systems.
