Qik Starts Open Beta

Qik, who was previously going through an invite-only alpha/beta phase, has just moved into an open beta phase, so there will be no more begging people to get invites, not that they were hard to acquire anyways. Currently they’re offering the service to both S60 and Windows Mobile clients, with iPhone support supposedly on the way.

Qik currently allows users to stream live audio and video straight for their handset, and out to the millions of computer users in the world. Allowing users to turn themselves into a mini BBC news network, or whatever they feel like. More ways for angry kids to rant about high school, yay!
