Opera 9.5 Beta Released
Story posted on: July 17, 2008. Filed in: others.

While there was a minor delay for the release for Opera Mobile 9.5, the beta has finally been released to the general public in the form of a beta 1. Users can probably expect a few bugs here and there, but it’s still probably better than the default browser of most phones. This release includes support for double-tap zoom, landscape flip, offline page save, tab-like browsing, auto-URL complete, Google search bar and other goodies. It seems that Google Gears and support for flash video will be added later too. Hopefully the final release won’t be too long coming.
