Customized OpenMoko Phone
Story posted on: July 31, 2008. Filed in: others.

When OpenMoko struck a deal with Koolu, they sure meant business. While the OpenMoko Neo FreeRunner hasn’t been released for more than a few weeks, there is already a customized version of it called the W.E. Phone. The main difference between these 2 phones is that the W. E. Phone comes bundled with custom Google applications, and comes in a rather interesting set of colors, which include a tartan-weave plaid case that so happens to spell “Debian†in Morse Code. The phone may be geeky and all, but just don’t mistake it for a Google Android phone, because it isn’t.
