RIM Promises To Have Its Strongest Second Half Ever

RIM doesn't seem to be too worried about the upcoming launch of Apple's iPhone 3G, as RIM's Jim Balsillie is saying that they will be having their “strongest second half ever” in the second half of 2008, and that there isn't a lot of overlap between the demographics targeted by the iPhone and Blackberry line.

Of course, RIM's bold statement will mainly be due to the fact that they're gearing up for the upcoming launch of the Blackberry Bold, which puts any previous Blackberry device to shame in terms of specifications, and lets not forget the much anticipated Thunder as well.

There predictions come after some poor first quarter performance from the Canadian firm, so hopefully they'll be able to live up to their promise.
