AT&T has officially announced that they will be expanding their Navigator location-based service abroad, with their latest AT&T Navigator Global Edition. Their extended service will cover 20 countries, which will include North America, Europe, U.S. Carribbean, as well as six cities in China that will host the Beijing Summer Olympics. The support for the cities involved in the Olympics won’t be a surprise to anyone, as AT&T is an official sponsor of the US Olympic Team. The AT&T Navigator Global Edition will be going for $19.98 monthly, and is supported by the AT&T Tilt, RIM BlackBerry 8800, BlackBerry Curve 8310, Pearl 8110, Samsung BlackJack II and Motorola Q9h.
