iPhone 3G Shortage Through August

This will probably be a big blow to users who were waiting a few more days to make a decision on whether go for the iPhone 3G (though the choice should have been quite obvious). According to industry analyst, Gene Munster, the current iPhone shortage could go on through mid-August, which probably will be a nightmare for would-be iPhone 3G owners. It is said that the initial demand for the phone outstripped Apple’s estimates, which is the root cause of this shortage. The rarest model should be the 16GB black version, as it was available at only 18 stores worldwide.
