Mobile Phones To Become Life Savers, Literally?
Story posted on: June 30, 2008, filed in:
The Red Cross is now offering a new animated mobile download which can issue life-saving CPR instructions via mobile phones.
"The technology, available through any Australian mobile phone service, is an animated program with an audio voiceover that gives a detailed overview of steps required for CPR."
While it is a very handy download, the Red Cross warns that it is no substitute for actual first aid training. Having said that, any help is better than no help, especially in a life threatening moment.
