Nokia: We Recycle
Story posted on: May 16, 2008. Filed in: nokia.
Nokia USA has come up with a new initiative to help save old mobiles from making a new home in city landfills, and instead recycle them for the greater good of the environment.
The newly announced “We Recycle†program, is extremely simple, and should be very popular with end users; while at the same time generate good publicity for Nokia.
All users have to do is simply log onto We Recycle, enter their information, and a postage paid return label is generated. Users can just stick that on an envelope containing the device, and send it off to where Nokia will strip it down for recycling.
This seems like a very good move, and whatever protects our earth will be good. It’s good to see Nokia take this direction, as everybody seems to be going green nowadays.
