A New Sidekick Passes FCC Tests
Story posted on: May 20, 2008. Filed in: others.
There is a new Sidekick that has just been cleared by the FCC, though its not entirely clear whether it is the previously rumored Sidekick Gekko/Aspen.
This new device’s model number is the PV210, which should rule out this being just a new color to a current Sidekick, or a small variance. In terms of specifications, there isn’t much to go by, though it can be seen that there is no 3G (unfortunately). It seems like users will have to wait longer for a 3G Sidekick.
The device itself hasn’t been announced by Sharp or T-Mobile, but since its cleared by the FCC, an announcement can’t be far off.
