Sony Ericsson Z780 Clamshell Released

Sony Ericsson has a new clamshell handset - the Z780. This is one global phone, equipped with tri-band UMTS/HSDPA and quad-band GSM/EDGE support. Among the goodies found on this feature-packed handset are :-

• Google Maps for Mobile
• 2.2" 262k QVGA resolution display
• NetFront browser
• 2 megapixel camera
• Bluetooth stereo support
• Integrated FM radio and music player
• Email support (POP/IMAP-based systems and Microsoft Exchange servers)
• 35MB internal memory
• Sony M2 memory card slot

It will ship in Q2 this year and will come in silver with onyx black and silver with amethyst purple colors. No idea on how much it will cost though, but you can use the Z770 as a reference.
