Samsung Fuel Cell Battery Concept
Story posted on: April 20, 2008. Filed in: samsung.

Samsung has a brand new battery concept for handsets, and it is environmentally friendly since it is powered by water. Special metals within will react with water, producing hydrogen gas which is subsequently passed to a fuel cell, where oxygen from the air will react with hydrogen to produce electricity. I wonder how much juice can be generated through water, but Samsung claims that this new battery can last up to twice as long as current battery technologies used in cell phones of today. This technology is said to be available sometime in 2010, whereby the hydrogen cartridge will be done with by then. Are you looking forward to such technology?
