Disposable Cell Phones Coming To Europe
Story posted on: April 21, 2008, filed in: others

Europe will soon be "invaded" by Hop-on and its legion of low end GSM cell phones after placing an order of over 150,000 of such handsets a few weeks ago. Each handset will retail for approximately 10 pounds Sterling, which is as cheap as it can get without being tethered down by some sort of 2-year long agreement. Just how well do you think Hop-on's disposable handset will do in Europe? I surely hope this won't add to our growing mountain of environmental woes as people change cell phones like underwear.
