3G iPhone Inevitable

Guess AT&T’s own CEO Ralph de la Vega has confirmed the existence of the 3G iPhone at CTIA 2008 last week, claiming that all of AT&T smartphones will be 3G “in months”. The definitive word here is months - two, to be exact. Do you think the iPhone will be complete with its current features save for the addition of 3G connectivity, or would you like to see other hardware changes?

T-Mobile has begun to distribute free replacement batteries for the HTC Wing upon realizing that there are rare occurrences of the battery overheating. Well, I guess the next time your pants start to catch fire, it isn't because you just told a big fat lie, but due to the fact that the HTC Wing's battery has decided to give up the ghost and immolate itself. This battery replacement program is done free of charge, so prevention is better than cure here.

LG's KF750 is the third generation of the Black Label series, but it still lacks a name unlike its predecessors, the Chocolate and Shine. What do you think would be a name apt for the LF750? No matter what your guess is, April 24th is the official date where the brand name will be revealed, along with the handset's complete specifications. The only details we know about the KF750 is it carrying a 5 megapixel camera while using pretty hardy materials like carbon fiber and tempered glass.

ZTE Heralds 2 New Phones

ZTE Heralds 2 New Phones

ZTE has rolled out a couple of cell phones in the US that feature quad-band CDMA (800/1700/1900/2100MHz) and Bluetooth connectivity. The first of the two is the ZTE C78 entry-level candybar handset that comes with a VGA-resolution camera and MMS support, while the integrated Web browser makes hooking up to the Internet a snap no matter where you are. As for the ZTE C79, this clamshell cell phone comes with slightly better features including a 2" internal display, a 1.3 megapixel camera and a microSD memory card slot for expansion options.
