Samsung and Adidas confirm launch of F110 fitness device

Samsung and Adidas have confirmed rumores that they have indeed been working on the launch of a phone geared towards sports and fitness. The SGH-F110 will be released in the UK in the next month, as a direct competitor to Nike+. The phone includes special features geared towards the fitness consious, such as a beeping chirp notifying you when you slow down the pace, and software for heartbeat monitoring and step counting.
The F110 will also include a built-in MP3 player / FM tuner for listening to tunes on your daily jog, plus a 2" LCD, 1GB of internal memory and a 2 MP camera. No price has been announced, but we expect to see a mid-range price linked to the device.Tags:
