Upcoming Nokia N82 firmware upgrade to offer geotagging
Story posted on: February 21, 2008. Filed in: nokia, symbian.

It has been confirmed from the official S60 blog that an update to the Nokia N82 firmware will be coming at some point in Q1. Along with the upgraded Nokia Maps 2.0 software, it seems Nokia is rolling out new geotagging support for the device, allowing photos taken with the phone to be tagged with location information. When you take photos with geotagging enabled, GPS info is automatically added to the image file.
