Sharp preps for high-end device outside of Japan

After years of keeping their high-end models for strictly the Japanese market, the mobile lords have spoken, and they have called for a Japanese styled device, sans the whole "only-for-Japan" part. A recently revealed patent shows the SX862, a Sharp WCDMA and tri-band GSM networked phone, which bares a extreme likeness to the similar high-end Softbank AQUOS 920SH.
Much like the 920SH, the SX862 is likely to offer a WVGA display and 3.2 MP auto-focus camera, with the biggest differences stemming from the slight difference in thickness and battery volume. Some questions remain in the air about whether a Hong Kong version of the device will be able to hold-up against the widely non DMB-T/H supporting far east, or whether even Hong Kong will be included with this release. What's your take?
