Samsung goes phone crazy with 17 devices

[MWC] Some phone companies prefer to unveil their devices throughout the year in a gradual fashion. Samsung is not one of those companies. Over at the 3GSM convention, Samsung has unveiled a set of 17, yes 17, new devices for 2008, led by the flagship U900 Soul slider (short for "The Spirit Of Ultra"), which is touted as being the ultimate of the Ultra series.

The new Samsung releases are being divided into four seperate niches. Style (including a new Armani-styled phone), Multimedia (a B&O outing with external sliding speakers), Business (a budget Windows Mobile device), and Infotainment (including an F490 upgrade). [Photo Gallery]
