Modu modular phone multi-talented with "jackets"

Modu has some big plans for their new modular phone. Reps from Modu say that they can create $1 billion of revenue with their new device, using modular "jackets" which can change the phones function and design depending on what use you are in need of.
Modu's system relies on a range of cases which transforms the device into a texting device, music player, or gaming device, depending on which "jacket" you use. By January of next year, Modu plans to have a series of slots called "modu mates" available to morph the phone into a photo frame, clock, and other devices. The new device launches in Russia, Italy and Israel in October.What's your take?
