T-Mobile getting Nokia 3555, low price clamshell 3G phone
Story posted on: January 8, 2008. Filed in: nokia.

The FCC recently approved the Nokia 3555, which is a very similar device to AT&T's Nokia 6555 phone. Though unlike the 6555, the 3555 is exclusively for T-Mobile. Offering built-in support for UMTS 1700 MHz, the Nokia 3555 is a nice little addition for users looking for a low-budget device with 3G compatibility. Don't expect many extra perks with the 3555, but what you can expect is a major discounted price compared to other 3G phones on the market.
