Sony suspends launch of Skype for PSP

At CES, Sony made an exciting announcement that would have brought the long-anticipated Skype VoIP service to their PSP gaming console. Sony has officially halted plans for bringing Skype to the PSP, which was supposed to launch tomorrow. They're really cutting it close, huh?

The suspension comes as result of Sony's microphone products not meeting Skype's required product specs. There's no saying when this will all be ironed out, but we're hoping for sooner than later, rather than not at all.
