Sony Ericsson patent reveals Frankenstein-like phone

It's alive! A new patent by Sony Ericsson shows a device which offers detachable parts, which allows the display and keypad to be mixed, matched, and rearranged. While most mobile devices consist of a basic display-control UI design, this patent would allow for a changeable and interchangeable phone design.

And while it doesn't mention it in the actual patent details, we even see potential for a device in which you can choose your own components, mixing and matching modular parts to create your own personal device.
