RIM reveals upcoming Blackberry software update

RIM has announced that a new Blackberry software update should be popping up soon, most likely dropping in the first half of 2008. In a statement made at Lotusphere 2008, RIM issued a press release outlining the changes and improvements set to come from the update. Editable Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel documents

Search for and retrieve email messages from their email server even if the message is no longer stored on their BlackBerry

View HTML and rich text email messages with original formatting preserved

Enhanced security
