Lenovo calls it quits on all of this mobile stuff

Chinese PC company Lenovo (who bought out IBM's ThinkPad back in 2004), is officially calling it quits on their mobile phone business. Lenovo Mobile isn't well known over here in the states since most of their devices are released in China. The now defunct mobile branch of Lenovo had a very unsuccessful 2007, with a loss of 134 million Yuan.
Lenovo will now be focusing on their PC and notebook business, selling their mobile shares for $100 million to a private firm owned by their parent company, Legend Holdings.Tags:
