Steve Jobs didn't have too much to say about the iPhone during his MacWorld keynote speech yesterday. Nothing was uttered concerning rumors which suggested Apple might be dropping a 16GB version of the phone, and not even a word concerning the iPhone in Canada. At least we have a new set of goodies to play around with thanks to the 1.1.3 firmware upgrade, which is now available for download.
Firmware version 1.1.3 adds in a few new fun goodies into the iPhone mix. Most notably, the iPhone maps service now includes a WiFi triangulation, which is like GPS, though less accurate. Providing a general range of where you are located based on WiFi and GSM signals. Apple has also made room for more icons, now allowing you to mix and match your main interface icons (with a fun wiggling animation, with up to 9 pages of space.Tags:
