CES 2008: Sony Ericsson Z555 clamshell looks like a disco ball
Story posted on: January 8, 2008. Filed in: sonyericsson.
The Z555 from Sony Ericsson is a clamshell device with a unique gradient-styled design. Featuring a 1.3 MP camera, the outer display not only contains a lens, but a special hidden display which illuminates with OLED's when you have an incoming call or text. The Z555 also incorporates gesture control (which seems to have become a hot feature over night) which allows you to mute a call or snooze the alarm by sweeping a hand (or leg if you're really flexible) across the camera. Expect this device to be available in Q1, so pretty soon.
