Samsung U940 makes it past FCC
Story posted on: December 13, 2007. Filed in: samsung.

In mid-November we caught wind of the Samsung U940 device, planned to be a Verizon phone in the near future. We now see that the U940 has made it past the icy grips of the FCC. We don't know too many details about the device but we can tell you that it seems like an upgrade for the Samsung F700, characterized by its wide touchscreen and the sliding QWERTY keypad. You can also expect a 2.0 Megapixel camera, 150 MB of internal memory, a microSD slot, and Stereo Bluetooth.

What OS will this thing be running? I'm dying for a phone with a real web browser on the Verizon network.
